Mobile Banking with Lakeland Bank
is now even more convenient with the introduction of Mobile Deposit. It’s fast, completely secure, and as easy as taking a picture with your smartphone.
With 24/7 access, you can deposit checks on your schedule, anytime and virtually anywhere. You can deposit any eligible checks up to $1,000, with a maximum daily limit of $3,000, through Mobile Deposit utilizing our secure mobile channel.

For access to all of the mobile features that Lakeland Bank has to offer, you must first be enrolled for Online Banking. Enroll today
Once enrolled for Online Banking, you can participate in Mobile Banking via the mobile browser, SMS, and our Mobile Banking app. Learn how to get the App
Access the Mobile Deposit feature through the Mobile Banking App.
Depositing a Check
It’s easy to use your smartphone to deposit a check. Login to your Mobile Banking App on your iPhone or Android device and select the Deposit
icon. Select New Deposit
and choose the account the account you would like to deposit the check to. Next, enter the amount of the check and click Continue.
Now it’s time to take a photo of the front of the check. Position the check within the viewing window with all four corners visible and snap a photo. If the image is unclear or obstructed, click Retake
to take another picture. If the image is good, select Use Photo
. Repeat this step for the back of the check.
Following these tips will ensure your check will be ready for our system to process:
• Place the check flat against a contrasting background
• Hold your mobile device steady and directly over the item (not at an angle)
• Position the check within the viewing window with all four corners visible
Once you have approved the two images, the Confirm
screen will ask you to verify the account and check amount. If the deposit details are correct, confirm the deposit by selecting Yes
screen will let you know that your deposit has been received. Deposit Pending
means the check is under review.
Once the deposit has been accepted by the system, the Result screen will display Deposit Accepted
. After the deposit has been accepted, it will post to your account on the same business day if made before the cutoff time. The funds will be available for use the following business day.
As a best practice and in accordance with the Mobile Banking Terms & Conditions, please retain the original check for 15 days and destroy the item once you have verified it has posted to your account
A Deposit Failed
result will explain any problems found by our automatic image analysis. You may be instructed to retake the image or try again with a new deposit.
From the Mobile Deposit home screen you can also review your mobile deposit history. Click View Deposit History
and select a deposit from the list to see the details of the transaction. From this screen you can see the status of the deposit and view the front or back image of the check.
